The Problem

Being a material company where the direct "competitors" are partners, what are some ways to drive sellout in stores?

Embrace the nature of Gore-Tex as an outdoors brand and meet consumers where they are online and in-store to add value to their shopping experiences in ways other brands can't.

My Role

The Distributed Layer

Most users starting point will be on a website, whether to do research or make a purchase. An overlay that can be distributed to any partnering site can be created that helps users choose products based on the activities that they'll be doing.

Bring The Distributed Layer In Store

Using NFC, we can bring the benefits of the distributed layer to the in-store shopping experience. Users would only need to use their phone to transfer their research from home into the store.

Reach More People With A Landing Page

Utilizing paid search we can boost Gore-Tex higher in search rankings to reach a wider audience. With the landing page we’ll be able to showcase new products, social and consumer engagement, and continued engagement with GORE-TEX product owners.

Keep Consumers In The Loop Through Email

One of the best ways to keep people looped into the GORE-TEX community is through email, giving them offers to things outside of products such as money off national parks or showcasing others' social posts.

Showcase The Community With Social

Celebrate the consumers that show off how they use their Gore-Tex products outdoors.

Unlock Experiences

Utilize strategic partnerships to give even more to the consumers and build equity as a brand.
